Protein Waffles with Fresh Fruit

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c Pancake or Waffle Mix
  • 1/3 c Water
  • 1/2 scoop Protein Powder flavor of choice
  • 1 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 c Frozen Mixed Berries thawed

Instructions

  • Preheat waffle iron according to directions.
  • In a small mixing bowl add the waffle mix and protein powder.
  • Stir in the cold water until it makes a batter consistency.
  • Spray the waffle iron with non stick cooking spray.
  • Scoop batter into the waffle iron until just filled. Close the lid and cook according to the directions on the waffle maker.
  • Remove from waffle iron when golden brown. Top with mixed berries and maple syrup.
